What Scroll Snack keeps, what stays on your phone, and how to delete it.

Updated 7 November 2026

What we keep

Your rules, your minute balance, and the history of minutes earned and spent. For each piece of work an assistant logs: a summary of up to 280 characters, any links and link titles it adds, the start and end times, and how hard the work was. We also keep each connected assistant's name and the site it connected from, the goal and summary of any session it runs, when your phone last checked in, and the token Apple gives us for notifications to your phone.

What stays on your phone

The apps and websites you lock. Apple's Screen Time picker gives Scroll Snack a token for each one instead of its name, and that list never reaches our server.

What we never see

Your chats, files or code. An assistant sends Scroll Snack only what it writes into a work log or a session's goal and summary.

Your account

The app makes an account the first time you open it, with no email or password. It stores your time zone so quiet hours work.

While we test it

Scroll Snack is in beta, so for now we record more than we will later, to find and fix problems fast. Sentry and PostHog get the screens you open, what you tap, how long things take, and any errors, from the app and from our web pages. They also get a replay of each session. In the app the replay hides all text and images. On our web pages it shows the page but hides anything you type, and Sentry replays only the moments around an error, with all text hidden. Both get a separate ID made from your account ID, never the account ID itself. Neither gets your work summaries, links, link titles, pairing codes, sign-in tokens or the names of the apps you lock. In the app they see how many apps you picked, never which. Both see the IP address you connect from: PostHog is set to throw it away, and we don't send it to Sentry ourselves. Our app keeps IP addresses in memory for a short time to stop abuse and doesn't save them.

Disconnecting and deleting

Disconnect an assistant any time from the Assistants tab. "Delete account" in the Rules tab removes your account and everything above from our server right away. Sentry and PostHog keep what they already have, which isn't tied to your account, plus one last count that an account was deleted.
